西方人眼中的物理治疗师以及我们的自嘲和自勉

最近看到国外同行分享的一则图文，很有感触，也顺道拿过来跟国内同行分享，希望增进大家对国外物理治疗的了解。

Physiotherapy is about education

and impacting the lives of others. 

物理治疗事关他人健康教育

和人们的生命健康

We as physiotherapists 

have an huge opportunity

to impact lives and changing beliefs in our patients.

作为一个物理治疗师，

我们手握影响他人生命

并改变患者观念的巨大机会。

Educate yourself 

and never stop learning.

记得时刻提升你自己，

永不停止学习

Learn something new every day

 and then give back.

每天学习新东西

并予以回馈

Give back to your patients, to your family,

your community, your country 

and to the world.

回馈给你的患者，你的家人，

你的近邻，你的国家

甚至全世界。

Why learn something, 

if you can't share it.
如果你都不分享它，

为什么还要学习呢。

Doctors give medicine, 

surgeons do surgery 

physiotherapists have the 

opportunity to change a person.

就像医生开出药方，

术者施行手术，

物理治疗师同样拥有

改变他人的巨大机会。

We have more time with patients 

to create a real connection

with the person and change 

their beliefs and habits.

我们有更多的时间与患者沟通，

与之建立一个真正连接，

并由此改变

他们的观念和习惯。

Movement is our medicine, 

and we are specialists in movement.
运动是我们的处方，

我们是运动的专家。

We as physiotherapist 

have a great opportunity

to fight the big health issues :

cardiovascular disease, 

chronic low back pain,

diabetes, dementia, etc.
作为物理治疗师，

我们有机会

挑战健康问题，诸如：

心血管疾病，

慢性腰背痛，

糖尿病，老年痴呆症等等。

It's not about me, it's about us.

这不仅关乎你自身，更关乎所有物理治疗师。

We have the responsibility 

to help the people around us.

我们有责任

帮助身边的人们

By helping others, 

you make your world a better place.

通过帮助他人，

让我们的世界更加美好。

The (western) world has become already

 too much individualized..

世界（西方）已经变得

太自私

So... Still believe this! 

physiotherapy is awesome!

因此，我们仍然深信，物理治疗正逢时！
